Pittsburgh

We thoroughly enjoyed traveling with Daddy to Pittsburgh. Crosby absolutely loved the plane rides and was invited into the cockpit by the pilots as we boarded  to get a look around. Of course, this just thrilled him. He's going to be just like his Daddy....always glued to the window when flying. :-) I had his little backpack full of activity books, crayons, toys, etc. but we didn't open the bag on either flight. We had a full itinerary waiting for us that began with a cookout at the home of the Pittsburgh Bartlett rep, followed by a fun day at the zoo, great seats to watch the Pittsburgh Pirates play and then a ride on one of the riverboats. Crosby loved playing with all the other kids and instantly started referring to them as his friends. Gracyn proved once again that she is such a sweet and easygoing little one. She rode in the stroller throughout the zoo with little complaint, missed naps regularly, ate at odd times and just totally went with the flow. Sweet baby! As Crosby said on our last day, "we should do this every weekend." :-)

Crosby's position throughout most of the flight.

must be some really good apple juice

Yes, we were eating at the little picnic table under a swing set. It was pretty cozy and neat in there.
Gracyn's just such a little lady, huh!

Crosby had so much fun playing with all his new friends.

Hot day at the zoo + Crosby + a run thru water fountain = one wet little boy

Gracyn loves her Daddy!

He was ready and waiting. And waiting and waiting and waiting.
He kept asking, "Why can't  I catch a ball? When's it going to be my turn?" :-)

his treat...cotton candy
the riverboat tour

Now that's a hearty laugh.

Is he trying to catch the water on his tongue?? Strange!

Crosby and I rode the incline up to the top on
Mt Washington while Daddy drove a sleeping Gracyn up to meet us.Kelby has ridden it before so he let Croz and I ride and Gracyn catch a much needed nap.

a lovely view of the city from Mt. Washington
