Disney World 2012

Our countdown chain is almost gone!
Someone is excited!
One of the perks to having a dad that travels is getting to hang out in the
US Airways club in the airports.
Yes, they are E.X.C.I.T.E.D!

Checking out the Pop Century while Dad checks us in to our room.
Thanks to our friend, Molly, for letting us borrow this adorable dress!

We visited Lady each day on our walk to the room.
Of course, we headed straight to The Pirates of the Caribbean ride and it did not disappoint.
Riding the train around Magic Kingdom
Posing outside our room
Cheeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
"Oh dear, is she ever going to stop taking pictures of me?"
Look how the Pop Century decorated our room while we were sleeping! Ha ha
The kids were impressed.
Crosby wanted to take this as one of his souvenirs but we couldn't squeeze it into our luggage.

"A Booty Bike" as C refers to them

waiting for the opening show on Day 2
The faces say it all!

Her first sighting of Minnie for the day!

C on the Barnstormer
Two tired pups!
I wasn't sure how she'd respond to meeting the princesses. At two years old, it's just hard to know. We'd only read about Cinderella so the other princesses were new to her. From the moment she stepped in the room, she was in awe. She just stood there and watched their every move. At her turn, she walked right up to each of them, hugged them, talked with them, had pictures made and didn't seem the least bit scared. She was a bit snooty though. Over and over she kept pointing to Cinderella (last in the line-up) and squealing CINDERELLA! After meeting Rapunzel, Belle and Cinderella she cried when we had to leave the room saying "No leave Cinderella." No joke! Then, as is Disney style, we were dropped off in the gift shop right in front of a huge princess doll display. Marketing at it's best. Of course, she again squeals Cinderella and I just melt and grab one of those (ugly) dolls without even price checking it first. This is not me. I NEVER just buy the kids toys. ESPECIALLY without even contemplating the cost first.

I shouldn't have had my picture made with a princess. Hard to compete with that. Gracyn looks terrified here but she's really just working hard on a good "Cheeeeeeezzzzzzzz."
At last, she made her way to Cinderella.

Notice the lips print on her cheek. Guess who planted that one on her? Yep, Cinderella. As we were walking away and G still squealing about Cinderella, the princess herself walked over, gave her another hug and planted a big kiss on her cheek.
Love Aladdin's magic carpet ride

Daddy, G and her beloved Cinderella doll

As always, a great time at the Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore

Can you see what G is holding? Yep, her little Piglet that she sleeps with each night.
Crosby entered the world of trading pins this trip. This was his first official trade. This gal actually let him keep his pin and hers too because she said he had such great manners. Cool kid!

This little girl LOVES A Small World. She still sings the song at least once a day.
Not only does she sing, but she expects everyone to sing with her.

Gotta love Woody and Jessie

A little peek-a-boo while we're waiting to ride over to Tom Sawyer's Island
Oh no, they've been captured by the evil Zurg!
Epcot Day 4

Gosh, I just L.O.V.E. these little guys. I love being their mommy.
Oh no, looks like Bruce caught Crosby.
Look at that brotherly-sisterly love!
Playing outside the room while G took her nap
Love him!
We had dinner here and it was fabulous. Tutto Italia...we'll be back.
Gotta love the Disney dining plan.
Crosby's new favorite... Mission Space!
G and her favs...Minnie, Piglet and Cinderella. Love this sweet baby doll.
Animal Kingdom: Day 5

out on safari

Crosby has his bug eyes on as we're getting ready for "It's Tough To Be a Bug."

She's excited because Daddy and Crosby's raft just came into view on the Kali River Rapids.
They look a little wet.

Wahoo! About to have lunch with Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy at the Tusker House.

Love the Lion King Musical in the Animal Kingdom. We had awesome seats this year!
The kids love the Dino Dig site. It's a great place for kids to just chill and play for a bit. It looks like sand but it's really tiny pebbles with dinosaur bones buried in various spots. They are digging for fossils.

My baby girl is growing up so quickly!
Tramp sits right across the sidewalk from Lady.

Looking back at the Pop Century... we were fortunate enough to have a lakeside room. We crossed the bridge (over to the right in the pic) to visit the Art of Animation resort. Due to time, we only had time to tour the CARS area but the other areas looked just as cool.

Breakfast with Chef Mickey & the Gang

G was just a little carried away getting to see Minnie up close. She was causing such a spectacle that nearby tables were watching and enjoying her excitement too.

This was the day before her 2nd birthday and they brought her a cupcake to celebrate.

Gracyn's favorite ride!

I'm pretty sure the pictures tell the story but let there be no doubt that we had a wonderful time and already want to go back. Maybe next year???
